This 1969 Peugeot 404 sold via Buy-It-Now for $3500 with two days remaining in the auction.

This 1969 Peugeot 404 sedan has a very clean body and original sunroof, but unfortunately had the engine overheated and isn’t currently running. The seller states that compression is low on cylinders #2 and #3. The interior and trim is very impressive and this could be an interesting buy for someone with a good engine solution. Find it here on eBay in Berkeley, California with a reasonable Buy-It-Now.

This is a great looking car that will need some attention before it will be back on the road. We would do our best to retain the originality, as the car is a very clean starting point. It would be great to source a back-up 404 engine if the damage is severe, but we checked the Summit Racing catalog and they no longer have turn-key Peugeot crate engines. Anyone have a better source?

It remains registered on black plates and is offered by the owner of the last 10 years who is a good friend of the owner who parked it way back when. Peugeot 202

The rear has a full-sized 3-lug spare and a tiny red tail lamp. We speculate that the deteriorated paper banner beneath the window is an old registration tag of some sort. Inside the amenities are sparse and the soft surfaces are tattered but the hard parts are intact and functional.
